Overview
The 2010 Ellis County Fair Rodeo is a KPRA sanctioned rodeo and part of the I-70 rodeo series (7 rodeos in all) which has finals event money added. This year’s stock contractor will again be our friend, the tried and true J-J Rodeo Company from Lakin, KS, owned by Deke & Kim Jennings. The Ellis County Fair Rodeo will offer added prize money of $3,000.
Mutton Busting
For buckaroos that are still less than 60 pounds, we have mutton bustin. Sheep and personnel will be provided by McClain’s Mutton Busting. This will begin at 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday nights right before the rodeo. Sign up early at the SW corner of the arena by the calf chute (first-come basis). For additional information, please contact Tony Krizek.
Rodeo Photography
This year the Ellis County Fair Rodeo is proud to include rodeo photography by Lone S Photography from Dodge City.
