2017 President's Invitation to the Ellis County Fair


Riders, Ropes, and Blue Ribbon Hopes! Join us at the fair July 15-23, 2017.

Excitement of all kinds awaits you at the Ellis County Fair! You will find family entertainment for all ages in one spot. From viewing 4-H projects, listening to the free bands on the midway, walking through the petting zoo, or watching the ventriloquist or Medicine Show, there is plenty to do.

We continue with two nights of action packed racing, two nights of rodeo and mutton busting, Ag Olympics, motorcycle races, and we close the fair with the demo derby on Sunday afternoon. Be sure to visit the Pride of Texas carnival. Purchase a voucher for an armband before the fair begins for only $15!

Along with the main events, we have an Ag-Education night, Safety Fair, Kid’s and Adult Pedal Pull, and RC cars. There is so much to do. Get a detailed schedule at elliscountyfair.com.

Be sure to visit all of the 4-H and open class exhibits from Tuesday through Friday night, you will be amazed at the craftsmanship displayed.

The fair has been running in Ellis County since 1875! What a long-standing tradition our county continues to support. Come on out and see what it’s all about!
